Commissioner Keon Hardemon to take part in Liberty City 45th Annual MLK Day Parade


MIAMI-DADE – Commissioner Keon Hardemon will commemorate the life and legacy of the Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. by participating in the parade procession at the 45th Annual MLK Day Parade on Monday, Jan. 17, 2022. This year’s in-person parade will reignite the rich history and community pride of the Liberty City event, traditionally held in District 3, after its transition to a virtual event in 2021 due to the Coronavirus pandemic. The parade will begin at 11 a.m., and the route will run from NW 54th St. and NW 10th Ave. to NW 32nd Ave. Festivities will continue following the parade at Martin Luther King, Jr. Memorial Park, located at 6000 NW 32nd Ct., Miami, FL 33142.
