The Spencer Davis Group, widely-known for the hit song "Gimme Some Lovin" was the featured act rounding out the day's activities which included a costume contest, Kid's Fun Zone with games and activities; psychedelic arts and crafts, and face painting.  Local rock band Geekus and classic rock group Rewind also perform during the Love-In.

The free festival was co-sponsored by Miami-Dade County Commissioner Sally Heyman, Tony Roma's, Majic 102.7 FM, Doubletree Ocean Point Resort & Spa; The Miami Herald; Rolling Rock Beer; and Bagels & Company.  The Miami-Dade Parks Department is already accepting sponsors for next year's event.  For more information on sponsorship opportunities for next years Love-In, contact Donna Peyton at 305-755-7804.
