Commissioner Sally Heyman and Surfside Commissioner Michelle Kligman host Canine Spay and Neuter event

Miami-Dade County Commissioner Sally A. Heyman, District 4, Surfside Commissioner Michelle Kligman and Miami-Dade Animal Services sponsored a free Canine Spay and Neuter event in the Town of Surfside.  On Sunday, September 9, 2012, over 30 dogs and their owners took advantage of the free services being offered.

"This is the third time I am pleased to work with Animal Services and municipalities to sponsor a free Spay and Neuter event in my district," said Commissioner Heyman. "It serves an important need in addressing animal overpopulation."

"The Town of Surfside is happy to participate in the canine spay and neuter event," said Commissioner Kligman. "This was an addition to our ongoing spay and neuter program for feral cats."
