Commissioner Bruno A. Barreiro will distribute over 800 boxes of food to residents in need


MIAMI, FL – On Monday, February 10, Miami-Dade County Commissioner Bruno A. Barreiro, City of Miami Commissioner Frank Carollo, Feeding South Florida, and the Miami Marlins will distribute over 800 boxes of food to seniors in need. Each box weights 15 lbs. and contains 21 items of canned meats, vegetables, fruits and other health items to supplement seniors’ diets.

Commissioner Barreiro will spend the day hand delivering non-perishable food items to residents who reside at Robert King High located, 1407 NW 7th Street, Miami starting at 10:00 AM. The group will continue the food distribution to Martin Fine Villas, 1301 NW 7th St, Miami, and end the day at Haley Sofge Towers located at 800 NW 13th Ave, Miami.
