Commissioner Bruno A. Barreiro will join S.A.L.A.D for a FREE workshop on pro-bono Foreclosure Defense this Saturday, May 10, 2014

MIAMI, FL – Miami-Dade County Commissioner Bruno A. Barreiro in conjunction with the Spanish American League Against Discrimination (S.A.L.A.D)  will be joining forces on Saturday, May 10, 2014 from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. in a workshop aimed at providing help to residents who may be facing foreclosure free of charge. The workshop will take place at Islas Canarias located at 285 NW 27th Avenue in Miami.

SALAD opened its Pro-bono Legal Foreclosure Defense Office in January 2010 with help of special funds from the state government. SALAD has provided legal counsel to hundreds of individuals and families who have been affected by the foreclosure crisis that has hit South Florida. It is crucial that those in need receive guidance support from experts who can provide valuable assistance. SALAD takes great pride in being at the forefront of this issue, and we believe that we have a responsibility and a duty to help those in need in any way possible.

For more information, please contact Commissioner Barreiro’s district office at 305-643-8525.
