Miami-Dade Commissioner for District 5, Bruno A. Barreiro presented a grant to Lilia Bueno owner of Lilia Bueno Alterations a small Mom & Pop business that sells linens and performs clothes alterations located at 332 SW 12 Avenue, Miami on September 11, 2007. Bueno, who was born in Peru, has been in business for five years. She has been three of those years at her present location. “I am grateful for this grant,” said Lilia Bueno. “I spend a great deal of time assisting other people with their problems and many of my customers don’t have much money to spend. This assistance will go a long way in helping me assist many people.”
