Take the Train…Take the Test on National Black HIV/AIDS Awareness Day


(MIAMI, FL) – In observance of National Black HIV/AIDS Awareness Day, and as part of the “Take the Train...Take the Test” program, free HIV testing will be offered to the public on Friday, February 7, 2014 from noon to 5 p.m. at the Brownsville and MLK Metrorail stations.  

HIV test results are available in as little as 20 minutes, along with on-site counseling.

The “Take the Train…Take the Test” program offers free HIV testing at various times at select Metrorail stations in a partnership between County Commission Chairwoman Rebeca Sosa, the Office of Community Advocacy, the Florida Department of Health, Miami-Dade Transit and 3-1-1.
