Commissioner Rebeca Sosa now on Facebook


(Miami-Dade County, FL) -- Miami-Dade County residents can now get in touch with another of their government representatives in a new way. Commissioner Rebeca Sosa has launched her own Facebook page, accessible at www.facebook.com. Anyone with their own Facebook account can locate her page by searching for “Commissioner Rebeca Sosa.” The page will regularly post local issues of which the commissioner is involved.

“Social networking tools like Facebook and Twitter are providing new ways for government officials to update constituents on items like events and legislation instantaneously,” said Commissioner Sosa. “I invite anyone who wishes to learn more about what I do.”
