Flu and pneumonia vaccines available at Commissioner Carlos A. Gimenez’s vaccination clinic

 


(Miami-Dade County, FL) -- Commissioner Carlos A. Gimenez will host a vaccination clinic on Monday, November 9, 2009 at Smathers Plaza, 1040 SW 29 Court, starting at 9 a.m. Miami-Dade Health Department officials will be administering vaccines for both influenza and pneumonia.

Vaccines are free for residents ages 65 and older. For those under the age of 65 who want vaccinations as well, flu shots are $25 and pneumonia shots are $35.
