Commissioner Carlos A. Gimenez joins Pinecrest students for “International Bike and Walk to School Day” |

Commissioner Carlos A. Gimenez joined the students at Temple Beth Am in Pinecrest for “International Bike and Walk to School Day” on Wednesday, October 7, 2009. More than half the students either walked or biked to school in order to promote health and a greener ways of getting to school. Students also donated food to the Kosher Food Bank. Joining the commissioner were Village of Pinecrest Police Chief Hohensee, parents and school officials.
