Greater Falls Area Community Meeting
Thank you again to the nearly 200 Falls-area residents who joined me on July 19 for an important discussion on how best to survey registered voters on the subject of incorporation, and the many more who contacted me via phone and email. Many questions, concerns and good ideas have been brought to my attention. In an effort to be as responsive as possible, attached is an FAQ (Frequently Asked Questions) memo. Please note that Leewood, Gloria Floyd and Sable Chase neighborhoods are included.

South Dade: More to Explore
This summer, the Office of Commissioners Daniella Levine Cava and Dennis Moss held the second annual South Dade Solutions Summit. This year's gathering of local leaders focused on how to market our unique community. In conjunction with Commissioner Moss' office and Bruce Turkel of Turkel Brands, we unveiled our new official brand. South Dade: More to Explore captures the spirit of the region's diverse population, geography, cuisine and attractions.
A Fair Share for South Dade
Commissioner Levine Cava partnered with Commissioner Moss to host the inaugural South Dade Solutions Summit: business, community and government leaders outlined a success plan for South Dade to improve transportation, economic development and quality of life. Recommendations include the County buying local food and products, promotion of "farm to table" dining, transit investments and greater marketing of our region's unique assets. The plan will be our guiding document framing District 8's agenda over the next three years.
