Commissioner Daniella Levine Cava holds Small Business Academy access to capital expo

Commissioner Daniella Levine Cava hosts a lenders’ forum and exposition focused on access to capital for the District 8 Small Business Academy on November 16th. The first of its kind by a County Commissioner, the Academy aimed to bolster small businesses, the backbone of our economy, by providing training and resources to local businesses to help them succeed. Those business owners who participated in the 7-week Small Business Academy will receive congratulatory certificates from the Commissioner.

“I was motivated to create the Small Business Academy from the priorities expressed at the South Dade Solutions Summit earlier this summer. Small businesses are vital community partners and I am committed to delivering resources to help our small businesses prosper. When we empower our small businesses, our community thrives,” said Commissioner Levine Cava.
