What are Portal Alerts
Portal Alerts are weekly updates sent to your e-mail address when material matching your interests is published on the County's Web portal, miamidade.gov.
How do Portal Alerts work?
In order to get Portal Alerts, you need to register. To do this, go to miamidade.gov and find the "Personalize" box. Click the "Sign-up" link and complete the online form. When you reach the portion of the form that looks like this, check the box indicating that you would like to receive weekly informational e-mails. Then select Commission District 8 - News and Events and any other topics that interest you. The next time Commissioner Katy Sorenson publishes news or information about an event, you'll get an automatic e-mail along with links to other topics that interest you.
