Hundreds come out to enjoy Commissioner Lynda Bell's first "Family Movie Night" at Devon Aire Park

Over 450 young and young at heart Kendall residents came out to enjoy a free screening of Academy Award winner for Best Animated Film “Toy Story 3” during Commissioner Lynda Bell’s 1st “Family Movie Night” at Devon Aire Park on Friday, April 15th.

Commissioner Bell offered residents free hot dogs, popcorn, soft drinks and cotton candy while the kids took pictures with beloved characters Buzz Lightyear and Woody as the sun came down in time to screen the critically-acclaimed film.

“We had a wonderful turnout of Kendall residents and their families on Friday night.  It’s always a great pleasure to see young kids enjoying themselves along with their parents and even some of their grandparents at a family event.  Having Buzz and Woody show up to amuse the kids and pose for pictures was an added treat,”  said Commissioner Bell.   "I am delighted to have the opportunity to host the first of many future 'Family Movie Nights.'”
