Commissioner Lynda Bell joins the pediatric nursing staff at PATCHES, PPEC for Her Second "Work Day"
Miami-Dade County Commissioner Lynda Bell joined the caring pediatric nursing team at PATCHES, PPEC for her 2nd monthly "Work Day" on Tuesday, April 26th.
As part of her monthly program designed to obtain a "hands-on" appreciation of the everyday pressures and challenges that local private sector institutions face on a daily basis, Commissioner Bell was asked by the administration of PATCHES, PPEC to become a member of their nursing, caregiver staff. The Pediatric Alternative Treatment, Care, Housing & Evaluation Services, Inc. - PATCHES, PPEC- is a State of Florida licensed Healthcare Facility located in Florida City that cares for children with advanced disabilities. PATCHES, PPEC combines the expertise of licensed pediatric nurses, respiratory therapists, rehabilitation therapists and certified teachers to provide a safe, cost effective and stimulating environment for disabled children ranging in ages from birth to twenty one years of age.
