Commissioner Bell Launches “Constituent Service Nights” to Better Serve Community

Commissioner Lynda Bell will be extending her district office hours on the 3rd Monday of every month, beginning on August 15th from 6:00 pm to 9:00 pm, as part of a new initiative "Constituent Service Nights" designed to expand access to constituents who are unable to visit her office during regular operating hours.

Last year, Commissioner Bell made a commitment to the voters of District 8 that if she became their Commissioner; she would remain as close and as accessible to them as possible.  "The need to remain in close touch with my constituents means much more than just getting a letter or an email from them.  There are residents who wish to meet with me personally, but the daily demands of today's pressure-filled schedules and routines prevents them from meeting me during the regular 9 to 5 work schedule." - Said Commissioner Bell.  "The new office hours allows these constituents to meet with me and my staff at a more convenient time for them."

If you are a concerned resident of district 8 and would like to meet with the Commissioner or a member of her team during these extended hours, please call and schedule an appointment by calling your district office at: 305-378-6677.
