Commissioner McGhee to host gun buyback event on Feb. 20

MIAMI-DADE – Miami-Dade County Commissioner Kionne L. McGhee and the Miami-Dade Police Department will host a Safer Community Gun Buy Back event on Saturday, Feb. 20 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Naranja Park, 14150 SW 264th St., Naranja, FL 33032.

Members of the public should bring all firearms unloaded and in the trunk of their vehicle – no name, no ID, no questions asked. Participants will receive a free laptop while supplies last.

“This is about making our communities safer by getting guns off the street,” said Commissioner McGhee.
