Commissioner McGhee will host District 9’s Inaugural ‘Kickball Showdown Juneteenth’ event

MIAMI-DADE – Commissioner Kionne L. McGhee is sponsoring District 9’s Inaugural ‘Kickball Showdown Juneteenth: Breaking the Chains’ event on Saturday, June 19.

The celebration, in collaboration with Black Lions MC and Papa Keith of 103.5 The Beat, will have food trucks, prize giveaways, bounce houses and other fun activities for children. The event, which starts at 11 a.m., will be at Sgt. Joseph Delancy Park at 14450 Boggs Drive, Miami, FL 33176

The Black Lions MC will face off with Team McGhee. Also participating in the tournament are the Miami-Dade Police, Miami-Dade Fire-Rescue, Miami-Dade Parks and Recreation and Omega Psi Phi Fraternity Inc. Masks and social distancing will be required.
