Commissioner McGhee holds press conference to commemorate “Save Charlie Day”

MIAMI-DADE – Commissioner Kionne L. McGhee will be joined by Chairman Jose “Pepe” Diaz and Mayor Daniella Levine Cava for a press conference to discuss “Save Charlie Day” on Wednesday, Dec. 15 at 1 p.m. at Miami-Dade Animal Services Pet Adoption and Protection Center, 3599 NW 79th Avenue, Doral, FL 33122.

Save Charlie Day was sponsored by Commissioner McGhee and adopted by the Board of County Commissioners on April 20, 2021. The legislation focuses on promoting public awareness to promote animal welfare and continue the County’s No-Kill Shelter policy.
