Commissioner McGhee to host Pet Adoption in honor of “Save Charlie Day”

MIAMI-DADE – Commissioner Kionne L. McGhee will be hosting “Save Charlie Day” pet adoption on Wednesday, Dec. 15, from noon to 4 p.m. at Walmart,15601 SW 127th Ave., Miami, FL 33177.

In honor of “Save Charlie Day”, all pet adoption fees will be waived, so all pets can be adopted the same day. If interested in adoption, please call 3-1-1 to schedule an appointment.

Save Charlie Day promotes Miami-Dade’s County mission to protect and promote animal welfare and continue the County’s No-Kill Shelter policy. The legislation was sponsored by Commissioner McGhee and adopted by the Board of County Commissioners on April 20, 2021.
