On the morning of Tuesday, July 3, 2012, Miami-Dade County Commissioner Dennis C. Moss, along with his fellow commissioners and members of the American Association of Retired Persons (AARP), had the honor and privilege of recognizing three centenarians from District 9 in the Commission chambers.

Over 40 members of the Affirmative Aging Ministry of the Church of The Ascension, led by Father Norbert Cooper, were in attendance to express their genuine love and support for the celebrated centenarians.

Commissioner Moss commented, “It’s not every day we get to acknowledge the life and the legacy of a centenarian. Today I am truly grateful and proud to honor three.”

Commissioner Moss joined by members of the Board of County Commissioners and members of the Affirmative Aging Ministry of The Church of The Ascension of Richmond Heights, Florida.
