Commissioner Dennis C. Moss and the Community Image Advisory Board
Announce the 10th Annual Clean-Up and Green-Up Poster/Video Contest

Miami, FL – Attention all Miami-Dade County School students:  You are invited to enter the 10th Annual Clean-up and Green-up Poster Contest sponsored by The Community Image Advisory Board (CIAB) and led by Chairman Dennis C. Moss, County Commissioner. Take advantage of this great opportunity and you can win amazing prizes!

The poster contest is open to students attending any Miami-Dade elementary, middle or high school. Entries will be accepted beginning, Tuesday, January 21, 2014. A new addition this year, high schools are encouraged to submit a video (maximum of two minutes long) telling us your school's tips to ''Clean-Up and Green-Up'' our community.  Each student who submits artwork for the contest will have their class’ name entered into a drawing for a pizza party.

“I look forward every year to seeing students get creative about making Miami-Dade County a cleaner and greener place,” said Commissioner Moss.  “This contest not only raises awareness about the importance of sustainability, but it also helps foster greater environmental responsibility among our young people.”

This year’s contest and prizes were made possible by CIAB partners: Greater Miami Convention and Visitors’ Bureau;  Miami-Dade County Public Schools; the Miami Herald; Feld Entertainment; the Parks Foundation of Miami-Dade and Commissioner Dennis C. Moss.

The deadline for the artwork submissions is Friday, February 21, 2014. Contest rules apply. All participants are to submit entries to:
