Commissioner Javier D. Souto is making himself more accessible to residents by partnering with the public libraries in his district to install suggestion boxes. The suggestion boxes are a way for residents to submit their questions and concerns to the commissioner about Miami-Dade County government. Suggestions can be anonymous and commission staff will periodically collect them for the commissioner to read and address directly.

“It’s my job as a commissioner to address the needs of my constituents. These suggestion boxes are another method of bringing government closer to the community and having the people express their views,” said Commissioner Souto. “Residents can leave comments about any aspect of County government, not just libraries.”

Suggestion boxes are currently set up at these locations in Commissioner Souto’s district:

Concord Branch Library
3882 SW 112 Avenue
Miami, FL 33165

Sunset Branch Library
10855 SW 72 Street, #13
Miami, FL 33173

West Dade Regional Library
9445 Coral Way
Miami, FL 33165
