Commissioner Joe A. Martinez District Truck Stolen

MIAMI – On July 28, 2017, Commissioner Martinez’ district staff discovered that the county truck belonging to District 11 had been stolen overnight. The vehicle was last used and seen by district staff on July 27, 2017 at 5:00 pm. Upon arriving at the office on the morning of the 28th, staff was ready to commence their daily proactive drive when they noticed the truck was missing. This truck is used to drive around District 11, visiting constituents, picking up debris, and ensuring all areas of the District are being maintained.

“Who would steal a truck with all those markings? The truck was not stolen from me or District 11, it was stolen from every tax payer in Miami Dade County. It’s a shame because that truck was only used to service the residents of District 11”, said Commissioner Martinez
