Residents receive free health services at Commissioner Joe A. Martinez 2018 Health & Safety Expo

South Florida residents and families came to the Miami-Dade County Fair and Exposition Center, E. Darwin Fuchs Pavilion, to take advantage of a multitude of health services and safety tips provided by Commissioner Joe A. Martinez at his 2018 Health & Safety Expo. The event was free and open to all Miami-Dade County residents and took place on Saturday, August 4, 2018.

Commissioner Martinez hosted the Cuban Memorial Fourth Anniversary Commemorative Ceremony

Miami-Dade County Commissioner Joe A. Martinez joined the members of the Memorial Cubano to host the fourth anniversary commemoration of the "Cuban Memorial” honoring the thousands of people who have died fighting or trying to escape the repressive regime of the island of Cuba since 1959. The solemn event took place on Saturday, February 17, 2018 at 3 p.m. at Tamiami Park, 11201 SW 24 Street (Coral Way).
