Commissioner Jose "Pepe" Diaz to hold town hall meeting on Miami-Dade Charter reform

 


(Miami-Dade County, FL) -- 
Commissioner Jose "Pepe" Diaz is inviting residents in his district and across the county to attend a town hall meeting on reforming the Miami-Dade Charter. The public is invited to share their input on changes they would like to see in the Charter and the proposed amendments already made by Miami-Dade commissioners, as well as ask questions about the upcoming special election on May 24, 2011. A representative from the County Manager's Office will also be on hand to assist residents with answering any inquiries.

The meeting is scheduled for Thursday, May 19, 2011 at the Westland Gardens Park, 13501 NW 107 Avenue, in Hialeah Gardens from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. For additional information, please contact Commissioner Diaz's office at 305-599-1200.
