Santa Jose "Pepe" Diaz to distribute gifts to Miami Children’s Hospital cancer patients

(Miami-Dade County, FL) -- 
On December 18, Commissioner Jose "Pepe" Diaz, dressed as Santa Claus, will be spreading holiday cheer and distributing gifts to pediatric cancer patients at the Division of Hematology-Oncology's Cancer Center at Miami Children's Hospital, 3100 SW 62nd Avenue. Santa Claus will be arriving at the hospital's auditorium at 2:45 p.m.

The Kids and Families Foundation will be donating the toys and gift cards the children will be receiving from Santa Claus.

In anticipation of the holiday season, the children participating will enjoy singing, dancing, watching performances, playing games, and spending quality time with their families.  This holiday party takes place yearly in collaboration with Miami Pediatric Hematology Oncology Associates and is made possible by various sponsors and volunteers within the community.
