Commissioner Jose "Pepe" Diaz and local youth group to give away FREE car washes for "14 Days of Neighborly Love"


(Miami-Dade County, FL) -- 
As part of his “14 Days of Neighborly Love” initiative, Commissioner Jose “Pepe” Diaz will be joining about 30 volunteers from La Roca Firme Youth Group to give away free car washes on Saturday, February 18, 2012. The commissioner and volunteers will be stationed at La Roca Firme Church, 6280 West 21st Court, in Hialeah from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

The “14 Days of Neighborly Love – Inspiring Random Acts of Kindness” initiative, motivated in part by Valentine’s Day, involves businesses and organizations donating their time and services from February 14 to February 27 to residents as a way of showing love for their neighbors and community. Until February 27, residents can take advantage of several services and goods offered at a discount or for free, such as tax preparation, marriage counseling, car washes, and more.
