Attorney Elizabeth C. Pines, who specializes in United States immigration law will be offering FREE consultations to Miami-Dade residents on immigration, naturalization and legal status issues on Wednesday, May 8 from 9am to noon at Miami-Dade County Commissioner’s district office, located at 8345 NW 12TH Street in Doral.
The free consultation is part of the League of Women Voters’ community outreach project and will focus on residents who want to become citizens and also those seeking to apply for the Temporary Protected Status (TPS) for Hondurans and Nicaraguans.
This event is a non-partisan and is organized by the Organization Hondurans Integrated Francisco Morazan (Brenda Maribel Betancourt), City of Doral’s Councilwoman Sandra Ruiz, League of Women Voters and Miami-Dade County Commissioner Jose “Pepe” Diaz.
Elizabeth C. Pines is the founding partner of the law firm of Elizabeth C. Pines, PA. She has been practicing immigration law for nearly 20 years. Ms. Pines established the firm to help foreign nationals navigate the often complicated and confusing process of dealing with immigration issues in the United States.
She graduated from the University of Miami with a Bachelor of Business Administration Degree in 1985 and also received her Master of Business Administration Degree in 1988, and then continued on to St. Thomas University School of Law, receiving her Juris Doctor Degree in August 1994.
