Commissioner Diaz to team up with Farm Share to feed residents

(MIAMI-DADE COUNTY)  – As part of his "14 Days of Neighborly Love – Inspiring Random Acts of Kindness“ initiative, Commissioner Jose “Pepe” Diaz will team up with Farm Share, Mayor Roberto Martell and the Medley Town Council to provide free food to residents on Friday, Feb. 21, from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at Town of Medley City Hall, 7777 N.W.  72nd Ave., Medley, FL 33166.

Farm Share is a large-scale food bank and charitable packinghouse that distributes free food donated by Florida’s farmers in an effort to fight hunger.

“I would like to thank Farm Share and the Town of Medley for taking part in this effort to help feed the hungry in our own back yards, because charity must begin at home,” Commissioner Diaz said.
