Commissioner Diaz and Miami Dolphins to team up for a Thanksgiving turkey giveaway at Hialeah Gardens Elementary School

MIAMI-DADE COUNTY – Miami-Dade County Commissioner Jose “Pepe” Diaz and the Miami Dolphins organization will team up to give away Thanksgiving turkeys to pre-selected students at Hialeah Gardens Elementary School, 9702 NW 130th St., in Hialeah Gardens, on Friday, Nov. 16 at 10:30 a.m.

“Thanksgiving is about giving, so I am honored to partner with the Miami Dolphins and provide District 12 families with a turkey so they can enjoy a wonderful Thanksgiving meal,” Commissioner Diaz said.

The students will not only receive turkeys to complete their Thanksgiving family dinner, but will also have the opportunity to meet former Miami Dolphins players and cheerleaders.

“The holidays are a time for gratitude and giving, and the Miami Dolphins are proud to once again partner with Commissioner Diaz to ensure that these deserving families are able to enjoy a Thanksgiving meal,” said Jason Jenkins, Miami Dolphins Senior Vice President of Communications and Community Affairs.
