Commissioner Diaz to present Veterans Job & Resource Fair

MIAMI-DADE – Miami-Dade County Commissioner Jose “Pepe” Diaz will present a Veterans Job & Resource Fair on Monday, Nov. 4, 2019 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Firefighters Memorial, 8000 NW 21st St., Miami, FL 33122.

Veterans will have the chance to meet employers, learn about employment opportunities and speak with representatives from more than 30 hiring companies, including Chick-fil-A, who will discuss franchise opportunities.

“I’m thrilled so many companies are participating in this job fair. It shows they value our veterans and appreciate the tremendous work ethic and skills they bring to the work force,” Commissioner Diaz said. “This is a great way to salute our veterans a week before Veterans Day.”

The job fair is for veterans only, so bring proof of military veteran status and enough copies of your resume to share with dozens of participating employers.
