NEW LOCATION! Monday food distribution in Sweetwater moved to Dolphin Mall

MIAMI-DADE – The Monday drive-through free food distributions in Sweetwater, which were previously held at Vann Academy, will now be taking place at Dolphin Mall, 11401 NW 12th St., Miami, FL 33172.

On Monday, April 27 at 8 a.m. at the new location at the mall, Miami-Dade County Commissioner Jose “Pepe” Diaz will team up once more with Sweetwater Mayor Orlando Lopez, Florida State Representative Ana Maria Rodriguez, and Farm Share to feed residents of Sweetwater and surrounding areas who have been financially impacted by the covid-19 state of emergency.

Residents must drive in at the Dolphin Mall entrance at Northwest 14th Street and 111th Avenue. The food distribution will continue until supplies run out. No walk-ups are permitted; the distribution is for cars only, and residents must remain inside their vehicles and pop open their trunks for the food.
