Commissioner Diaz to collect toys for Toys for Tots

MIAMI-DADE COUNTY – Miami-Dade County Commissioner Jose “Pepe” Diaz will be collecting toys for the annual Toys for Tots campaign for children in the community on Sunday, Nov. 29 from noon to 4 p.m. at Peterson's Harley-Davidson South, 19825 South Dixie Highway, Cutler Bay, FL 33157.

All attendees must bring a new unwrapped toy. The toys collected will benefit the Toys for Tots campaign for less fortunate children in the community whose families can’t afford toys for Christmas. Participants must wear a face mask and practice social distancing.

Toys for Tots is a national project of the United States Marine Corps Reserve which began in 1947 in Los Angeles.
