Chairman Diaz to participate in ‘Down with the Chains’ rally calling for freedom in Cuba, Venezuela and Nicaragua

MIAMI-DADE – Chairman Jose "Pepe" Diaz has been invited to participate in the “Down with the Chains! Call for Freedom!” rally. He will be among those joining community members in the City of Miami’s “Down with the Chains” event – a public demonstration that calls for freedom in Cuba, Venezuela, and Nicaragua.

The event, which begins at 5 p.m. at Bayfront Park, will unite demonstrators with one voice to support the oppressed in the three countries, whose repressive governments have drawn protests and demands for freedom.

Activists from Cuba, Venezuela and Nicaragua are expected to attend, as well as musicians such as Willy Chirino, Albita, Gente de Zona and Los 3 de La Habana.
