Commissioner Diaz plants trees for Arbor Day

(MIAMI-DADE) – Miami-Dade County Commissioner Jose “Pepe” Diaz (District 12), celebrated Arbor Day on April 24 by planting two oak trees on the corner of Northwest 127th Avenue and 12th Street.

The event kicked off the planting of more than 200 trees along streets in District 12 and will advance Million Trees Miami’s goal of planting 1 million trees by 2020.
