Commissioner Diaz gives away Thanksgiving turkeys

MIAMI-DADE COUNTY – About 500 families will enjoy traditional Thanksgiving meals this year thanks to Miami-Dade County Commissioner Jose “Pepe” Diaz.

Commissioner Diaz recently teamed up with the Miami Dolphins organization to give away Thanksgiving turkeys at Hialeah Gardens Elementary School. He also held a turkey giveaway at his district office.

“Everyone should be able to enjoy a nice meal with their family on Thanksgiving, and it’s very satisfying to help make that happen every year for so many families in District 12,” Commissioner Diaz said.
