Commissioner Diaz celebrates Christmas early with District 12 seniors and Latin celebrities at annual Christmas luncheon

MIAMI-DADE COUNTY – Once again, Commissioner Diaz made the holidays special for nearly 1,300 District 12 seniors at his annual Christmas luncheon celebration on December 5 at the DoubleTree Miami Mart Airport Hotel where seniors got to meet and dance with Latin celebrities.

Some of the celebrities included Ana Margarita Menendez, who played “Carmencita” on Que Pasa USA, singer Carlos Oliva from Los Sobrinos del Juez, TV presenter Jessica Carrillo from “Al Rojo Vivo” and “Don Francisco Te Invita”, actor/comedian Miguelito “El Flaco” Gonzalez, host and singer/actress Nanci Guerrero, radio and TV host/actor Omar Moynelo  and TV presenter Carlucho. The event also featured small gifts for attendees and a raffle of gift cards, televisions and microwaves.

“I’m so happy to be able to have this annual event for my seniors,” Commissioner Diaz said. “To see my residents dancing and taking selfies with their favorite Latin celebrities is really amazing and brings me lots of joy this holiday season.”
