Commissioner Bovo expresses his discontent with the United States Environmental Protection Agency

During yesterday’s Board of County Commission meeting, Commissioner Esteban Bovo, Jr., District 13, sponsored a resolution condemning the United States Environmental Protection Agency for the use of images of Ernesto “Che” Guevara in an e-mail for Hispanic Heritage Month.

“I believe it is an insult to those who have suffered the years of tyranny under the dictatorship of Fidel Castro to use an image that depicts a person who played such a pivotal role in the seizing of power,” said Commissioner Bovo.
