(Miami-Dade County, FL) -- Commissioner Bovo participated as guest speaker at the Beacon Council Permitting workshop that discussed improvements being made in order to streamline the County's permitting process. There was an open discussion that debated on how small business can have an expedited application process.
Those in attendance, inclusive of entrepreneurs, business men and contractors, were able to engage in a questions and answers session that addressed their issues and concerns.
"It is important for entrepreneurs to continue to feel enthused on opening small businesses and it is our job, as their representatives of their local government, to streamline that process,"said Commissioner Bovo.
The event was hosted by the Beacon Council and made possible through the sponsorship of Publix Supermarket.
Also in participation were Jack Osterholt, Miami-Dade County Deputy Mayor, Michael Silver, First Vice-President of CB Richard Ellis and Jorge Munilla, president of MCM Corp.
