Senator René García to host drive-thru food distribution in Hialeah

MIAMI-DADE – Senator René García is partnering with Farm Share, Share Your Heart, Hope Mission Center, Mount Sinai Medical Center, Florida Blue, and GoPuff to host a drive-thru food distribution on Saturday, November 18, from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. at Amelia Earhart Park, 401 E 65 Street, Hialeah, FL 33013.

Farm Share will provide healthy and nutritious fruits, vegetables, proteins, and other non-perishable food for the event. Senator García is excited to collaborate with Farm Share and supports their mission to feed hungry families, children, and seniors in Florida, especially in Miami-Dade County.

“As we approach this season of gratitude, it is essential to address food insecurity in our community,” said Senator García. “My goal is to ensure our families are well fed and can enjoy a nourishing meal during Thanksgiving.”
