Vendor Assistance Unit
The Vendor Assistance Unit facilitates the procurement process by assisting vendors on how to conduct business with Miami-Dade County. The unit coordinates vendor enrollment and vendor registration processes; approves insurance, bid deposits and performance bonds; advertises solicitations for Invitations to Bid and Requests for Proposals; conducts public bid openings and facilitates quality assurance reviews of procurement processes. Fiscal and Administrative Unit
The Fiscal and Administrative Unit prepares and monitors the departmental budget, prepares monthly and quarterly financial reports, manages the accounting and purchasing functions, coordinates Strategic and Business Plan preparation and reporting, administers the County’s User Access Program and handles building management, supplies, equipment maintenance and inventory control issues. Personnel Unit
