Reporting

Issuing department responsibilities

• Notify the Small Business Affairs/Department of Procurement Management (SBD/DPM) at the time of imposition of the Cone of Silence.
• Provide to SBD/DPM the project number, project title/description, the name and phone number of the procurement agent or contracting officer responsible for the procurement process of the RFP, RFQ or bid solicitation.
• Provide any information required by SBA/DPM for public notice of the Cone of Silence.

Small Business Affairs/DPM responsibilities

• Weekly public notice of the Cone of Silence on the County's website and the Vendor Assistance Unit.
• Provide written and/or electronic notice to the Mayor, each County Commissioner, the County Manager, the Clerk of the Board and the affected departments.
