    Director's Message

    It is my pleasure to welcome you to our virtual "front door": the Department of Procurement Management (DPM) WebPages. Here you will find a wide array of reliable information regarding procurement opportunities, processes, legislation, and training resources. DPM is responsible for the countywide purchase of goods and services for 62 county departments and offices that serve the residents of our community. Over 1,200 active contracts valued at $3 billion are supported by the Department. Over the past six years, it has been a privilege to manage and lead the implementation of Miami-Dade County's centralized purchasing agency. We are committed to promoting full and open competition, and ensuring implementation of a fair, transparent, and inclusive procurement process.

    DPM is committed to customer service and the timely acquisition of goods and services. Utilizing technology and sound business processes, we strive to bring the greatest value to Miami-Dade County with integrity, fairness, competition and community inclusion.     Please take a moment to enroll as a County vendor by clicking on "Enroll as New Vendor." Once you complete the brief online enrollment process, please make sure you have accurately selected each commodity your business offers. Electronic notification of each opportunity to compete will reach you as contracts for the selected commodities are advertised. Solicitations are available online free of charge.

    Please visit our website often. If there is a commodity you are interested in providing the County, you may identify the expiration date of the existing contract, receive a current award sheet to asses the business opportunity, and/or contact the procurement professional responsible for the commodity of interest. To provide easy access, this information is readily available on this website. If you would like to speak to the procurement professional that manages contracts in the commodities you offer, please do not hesitate to e-mail or call.     I invite you to take advantage of our free monthly Request for Proposal (RFP) and Invitation to Bid (ITB) workshops. These workshops offer current and prospective vendors the opportunity to learn, first-hand, the  latest requirements for competing on County contracts.
