(Miami-Dade County, FL) -- Starting December 26, 2007 residents of unincorporated Miami-Dade County and the municipalities of Aventura, Cutler Bay, Doral, Miami Gardens, Miami Lakes, Palmetto Bay, Pinecrest, Sunny Isles and Sweetwater,  are asked to drop off undecorated Christmas trees at any of the 13 Neighborhood Trash and Recycling Centers and at a designated area at the South Dade Landfill for recycling.

For additional information the Department of Solid Waste Management asks all residents to contact Miami-Dade County’s Answer Center by dialing 3-1-1.  Remember, clean trees equal clean chips for your garden and landscaping needs!
