Miami-Dade Department of Solid Waste Management Demonstrates Automated Waste Collection Truck to Sunset Christian Academy Students
(Miami-Dade County, FL) -- The Miami-Dade Department of Solid Waste Management recently treated students at the Sunset Christian Academy to a demonstration of an automated waste collection truck. The students saw the truck’s hydraulics in action, including the automated arm that picks up waste carts. The demonstration is part of the Miami-Dade Department of Solid Waste Management’s efforts to educate all Miami-Dade residents on solid waste management issues.
