Stop by alligator holes and see these prehistoric reptiles in their natural habitat. See the Purple Gallanule voted the most colorful bird in Florida and the endangered Everglade Snail Kite as well as herons, grackles, turtles, raccoons and other Everglades residents! After your airboat ride step back in time and into the Coopertown Restaurant for some down home Everglades cooking. On the menu - alligator tail, cat fish, frog legs, and much more!

Cool your feet on this watery hike through wet prairies, sloughs and cypress swamps in search of birds, wildflowers and adventure. This fun hike will explore the various Everglades habitats and the animals that call them home, from reptiles and amphibians to birds, mammals and colorful butterflies. Be sure to sign up early and bring your binoculars and a change of shoes. This tour is rated moderate for wading in watery conditions. Reptile presentation also included!
Shark Valley Bike Adventure
Follow your naturalist-guides through this scenic 15 mile trail which passes through open saw grass prairies, grassy marshes and tropical hardwood hammocks. Watch for alligators, wading birds and occasional otter as you peddle along the trail. Reptile presentation also included!
Everglades Scenic Adventure
Sit back and relax on your scenic adventure along the 26-mile Loop Road where deer, otter, and panther are often spotted. The Everglades is the only ecosystem of its kind and you can only see it here in Florida!
What should I bring with me on the tour?
Bring plenty of water, at least 2-quarts per person. Protection from the sun including sun block with a high SPF (15 or higher), hats, and sunglasses are important. Insect repellant is recommended during the wet season (May - November). Light comfortable clothing and closed-toe shoes will make your trip more enjoyable. Lunch options are available at Coopertown Restaurant. Light snacks are recommended for the ride home. Cameras and binoculars are recommended to enhance your experience.
*Swamp Tromp - A change of clothes, shoes and towel are recommended. Closed-toe shoes are required.
