Indian Key Kayak & Snorkel Adventure
This is truly an EcoAdventure! Jump in our Eco-van with your naturalist-guide as we make our way to Indian Key, the first government seat of Miami-Dade County. Explore the island by canoe, just as the first settlers did in the 1800s. Snorkel in the clear waters and surrounding coral reefs which are teeming with wildlife! Join us as we retell historic events and spend the day exploring the island on foot.
What should I bring with me on the tour?
Bring plenty of water, at least 2-quarts per person. Protection from the sun including sun block with a high SPF (15 or higher), hats, and sunglasses are important. You will be getting wet, so bathing suits/shorts, a change of clothes, and towels are recommended. Snacks or a light lunch will make your day more enjoyable as there are no food options inside the park. Closed-toe shoes required.
