Description
Explore the mangrove forests of Key Biscayne where reptiles and a wide variety of marine life lurk. Visit the Ibis preserve and see tropical coastal shore birds such as the magnificent frigatebirds, nesting brown pelicans, cormorants, white ibis and a variety of herons and egrets. This naturalist-guided canoe trek takes you through the forgotten and secret parts of this barrier-island.
What should I bring with me on the tour?
Bring plenty of water, at least 2-quarts per person. Protection from the sun including sun block with a high SPF (15 or higher), hats, and sunglasses are important. Snacks or a light lunch will make your day more enjoyable as there are no food options inside the park. Closed-toe shoes required.
