Bill Sadowski Park and Nature Center offers three distinct habitats within thirty acres; pineland, tropical hardwood hammock, and a drained Everglades slough. The main building houses a live animal exhibit of native and non-native animals that can be found living in wet lands and waterways of South Florida. The 822-gallon freshwater aquarium displays fish that have been caught from the shores of the canal adjacent to the park, where canoeing and fishing opportunities await. A self guided nature trail gives visitors insight to the various plant communities and animals that frequent the park. Solution holes and Karst limestone formations are visible along the way. Encompassed within the park grounds are also a native tree arboretum, and a bird watching area.
